I have just returned from exhibiting at The Other Art Fair in Sydney where I showcased my mixed media monoprints. It was a wonderful experience and I have learnt heaps and made some wonderful friends. I am grateful for all of the people who stopped by my booth and took an interest in my work and those of you who bought work. May it bring you many years of joy.

A huge thankyou to the artist friends I made a long the way and the organisers of the show that made it run smoothly. Last but not least a huge shout out to my husband who was my trusty gofer, handyman and all round supporter. Love you right up to the sky and beyond.

So I have finally taken the plunge and lazy minted a number of my monoprints on Rarible.com I would love it if you go check them out. They are under my pseudonym CakkieLou which is a name my dad and sister gave me as a child and has stuck with me. (for better or worse).

On another note I have been working on a painting that is slowly coming to life, Not sure where it will end up but it is challenging me to think outside of the square a bit with using text. Trying to not make it look clunky. Easier said then done. Let me know what you think of my Sunday afternoons work.
